To provide our site users with a interactive experience we used the new Joomla platform which is now at 1.5. Joomla provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface that simplifies the management and publishing of large volumes of content including HTML, documents, and rich media. We have been active followers of the Joomla projects for many months now. Our original site ran off of the old codebase which was a fork of the popular cms Mambo. Although we made many mistakes when we first launched out company, we now have a solid foundation and have reorganized our entire business and website from the ground up and came up with a totally new concept.

In the early days we had many ideas and wanted to embark on many different projects. Kinda like a kid at christmas, they have so many cool toys they try to play with them all. I have always been fascinated with computers and technology. To utilize my talents with computers and the many subjects I like learning about I came to the conclusion that I wanted a site the would cover every topic imaginable and make it possible for people from all over to connect together to share their wealth of knowledge.

This made it very difficult to design a site that would be a valuable source to our customers and the everyday internet surfer. In order to keep all our interests we came up with the idea of a social cafe to create a place for everything and anything.

We have tried many different ideas, software and techniques and now have really dialed in on what needs to be done in order to be sucessfull at presenting all our ideas, services and products in a proffesional manner. It has been a crazy year and we have finally came to our senses and have put together everything we have learned and now know exactly how we can keep up with our competition.

The more niches, categories and topics that are put into a site makes it harder to market your site to the search engines. It requires you to keep up with our competitions from many different categories instead of focussing in on one category. As you see there are many factors to marketing an internet site and it just gets harder with the more areas of interest that you are invloved in.

We were going to seperate our site out into several different sites untill we learned new techniques that would allow us to be successful putting everything into one single site. Pluss this makes it easier to manage our content and makes it easier for you to find what you want.

We are all about working toward having an unlimited amount of info on every topic you can imagine. Not counting the added bonus of our growing online shopping store.
